Whisk(e)y Galore

I am sure there is at least one joke about a Scotsman, an Englishman and an Irishman walking into a bar… In this case it can be definitely be said that they all come from emerging whisky or whiskey distilleries!

Glentaffe is pleased to be working alongside Scottish, English and Irish whisk(e)y organisations, promulgating them for additional investment and wider distribution.

Andrew has had experience with The Glenlivet and Chivas Regal, and Stephen worked for many years with Pernod Ricard and more recently with South African Breweries. We have helped these companies prepare quality pitch decks and financial models.

We are currently engaging with investors from China and will shortly be extending our discussions to Latin America, South Africa as well as closer to home in the UK and Ireland. Near Barra in Scotland is the Isle of Eriskay, the place of a famous shipwreck and home of the legend and movie Whisky Galore.

“O Whisky! Soul of plays and pranks! Accept a bardie’s gratefu’ thanks” wrote Robert Burns in his poem to the Scotch drink, which is celebrated in a mighty way with haggis, neeps and tatties in Burn’s Suppers around the world, Slàinte Mhath!
